Every new CrossFitter begins in our Fundamentals (or On-Ramp) course, which consists of three one-on-one sessions to learn the correct techniques for classic CrossFit movements. This course will ease you into the intensity of the CrossFit workouts.
CrossFit is performing constantly varied, functional movements, at high intensity. Functional movements are the core movements of life, and reflect the best aspects of weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing and more. They are best suited for moving large loads long distances, and maximizing work capacity. The aim of CrossFit is to forge a broad and inclusive fitness supported by measurable, observable, and repeatable results. WOD classes are led by a coach; each class is an hour long, consists of a warm up, skill or movement instruction and practice and workout. We offer these classes eight times a day, Monday-Friday.
Who says adults get to have all the fun? CrossFit Kids teaches children ages 3-18 the principles of mechanics, consistency and intensity in working out. Establishing good movements and fitness through childhood and adolescence is our goal. CrossFit Kids provides children with physical literacy, enhanced sports performance, and fewer sports injuries. Also, scientific research proves that exercise benefits cognitive function. So your little athlete will do better on the field and the classroom.
In today’s busy world, it’s hard to find the time to get regular exercise. So it’s important to make the most of the time you have.
